ESRI Bulgaria is a beneficiary under the Operational Programme”Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020

ESRI Bulgaria Ltd is a beneficiary of the project “Building communications infrastructure to provide cloud geographic information systems and services in ESRI Bulgaria Ltd” under a contract grant № BG16RFOP002-2.001-1134-C01 by procedure BG16RFOP002-2.001 “Improving production capacity in SMEs” priority axis 2 “Entrepreneurship and capacity for growth of SMEs” an investment priority 2.2 “Capacity growth of SMEs” with the financial support of Operational Program “Innovation and Competitiveness” 2014-2020, co-funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. The total amount of the contract is 1,045,798.29 BGN, 732,058.80 BGN of which granted by the Managing Authority and 313,739.49 BGN co-funded by the beneficiary. The contract has 12 months term of implementation and will be located in Montana Municipality.

The overall goal of the project is to increase the production capacity of ESRI Bulgaria and increase the export share from sales. The set specific goals include expansion of the provided range of services by creating a new business object of ESRI Bulgaria, expansion of  the company’s share in the national market and optimisation of production costs. A specific objective of the project is the rise of revenue from foreign customers and strength the export-oriented portfolio of the offered services.

As a result of the project a number of tangible and intangible assets will be purchased and deployed, including server systems, hardware, virtualization and specialised application software that will enable ESRI Bulgaria to improve production processes in the company and increase its production capacity . The increase of the company export potential is expected and through the use of modern high-tech equipment an  increased production efficiency is expected.
