QA Specialist

ESRI Bulgaria, the IT company leader in the field of Geographic Information Systems, is looking for a QA Specialist.

Key responsibilities

- Monitor all stages of the GIS development to identify system malfunctions
- Preparation and/or verification for compliance with the design documentation
- Analysis of requirements and specifications
- Determine a testing strategy
- Create test plans for complex applications
- Document user test scenarios
- Prepare the test environment
- Design and conduct of test cases
- Perform functional testing
- Perform integrated testing
- Perform regression testing
- Perform system integration testing
- Testing data loading
- Run performance tests
- User testing
- Use of automated testing tools
- Design and run test-scrips
- Perform joint acceptance tests with clients
- Documentation of results
- Track and manage defects
- Identify, collect and analyze metrics
- Active participation in the optimization of the testing methods and processes
- Fast and effective learning of the new products and technologies

Job requirements

- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, information systems or similar
- Good command of English
- 2 or more years of professional experience in the testing of information systems
- Experience in writing test documents – test strategies, plans, scenarios, test cases
- Experience with documentation of test results
- Experience with systems for automated defect tracking and management
- Excellent knowledge of test methods
- Knowledge of the systems’ development lifecycle
- Ability to operate effectively as part of a team and independently
- Strong sense of responsibly, effective organizational skills and a proactive attitude

Advantages
