About the Role
We are looking for a talented and driven business professional with a strong exposure and relevant experience in the Bulgarian Renewables, Energy and Mineral Resources sector. As an Account Manager within our team, you will be responsible for:
- Build relationships. Prospect, develop, and implement location strategies for organizations. Maintain a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities for new and existing customers. Leverage social media and other avenues to build your professional network. Participate and present at events and client meetings.
- Understand our customers. Demonstrate industry knowledge and its relevance to the application of GIS. Identify key stakeholders and business drivers for an organization. Understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes. Use consultative selling skills to understand the needs and business challenges of customers.
- Learn and grow. Clearly articulate the strength and value of Esri technology as it relates to the Bulgarian Renewables, Energy and Mineral Resources sector. Consistently conduct research and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs and trends that may impact them.
- Deliver results. Successfully execute account management and sales processes for all opportunities. Generate leads and manage the process to successfully close deals. Upsale and cross sale to help customers overcome challenges and be successful.
- Collaborate with others. Leverage your domain knowledge when working with teams across Esri Bulgaria and Esri Inc. to define and execute account strategies. Engage with partners to develop strategies to best support our customers. Be motivated and resourceful and take initiative to resolve issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the Renewables, Energy or Mining industry
- Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
- A strong ability to generate new business outside of your network
- Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation
- Capability to deal with clients at all levels, and translate client needs into a complete solution
- Demonstrated knowledge of Network Management, Asset Management, new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
- Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
- Bachelor’s or master’s in business administration, utilities, engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Think creatively and innovatively. Must be persuasive, engaging; able to develop and position a story
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
Recommended Qualifications
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and Digital Twin concepts and how they relate to the sector
- General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and how it is used for problem solving and uncovering patterns and trends within organizations
- Experience managing the sales life cycle
- Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
